Hi beautiful mamas! Welcome back to the Called and Curious Podcast-the space for Christian women to feel “at home” in the Kingdom and in our own thoughts by connecting our hearts and minds to the heart and mind of Christ!

I’m your host, Ashriel Huber, a faith-filled personal trainer for thought patterns. I’m so excited that you’re here because today we’re diving into a topic that can truly transform our thoughts, homes, business, and life: enthusiasm!

In this conversation, we explore the incredible power of enthusiasm—not just as a personality trait, but as a skill that we can cultivate to improve our health, our interactions, and our experiences in life.

Just ask a lackluster chiropractic company. In this real-life example you'll hear how just a little intentional enthusiasm can change everything. Like a pebble on a still pond, the ripple effects of enthusiasm are powerful. Enthusiasm changed the chiropractic company's culture, and it can change things for you.

You know, enthusiasm isn’t just a feel-good term; it’s a game changer! The feeling and act of enthusiasm stimulates the release of dopamine and endorphins, lifting our spirits and giving us the motivation we sometimes lack. We are called to be joyful and have a cheerful spirit in the Bible. Christ knew it wasn’t just about showing up, but the attitude with which we come to serve. When we come at our work and roles with joy and enthusiasm, we cause a ripple effect in our teams, in our work, and in our relationships. Imagine creating a ripple effect of positivity and joy! Enthusiasm is contagious and as kingdom women, we can help others find joy in the journey; but it starts with embracing, growing, and using the skill of enthusiasm.

Listen in to learn HOW we can start training our brains to be MORE ENTHUSIASTIC. Don’t worry, no need to run to the thrift store for a pair of pom-poms and an old cheerleader uniform. We go over some simple, actionable steps that you can easily start incorporating into your day to grow your skill of enthusiasm. Because I want it to be easy. I want you to see how you personally can grow your individual level of enthusiasm to start “infecting” others.

Cultivating enthusiasm requires consistent practice and effort, but the rewards are so worth it. So get ready to disrupt how you think about things in order to train your brain for the glory of God.
